Are you a skilled, safety-minded tree care professional with hands-on experience in bucket truck operation and/or climbing? Alfieri Tree Care, a family-owned and operated tree and shrub care company serving the Upper-to-Mid Cape area, is looking for a motivated Experienced Tree Crew Member to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do…

• Support day-to-day tree care operations alongside an experienced crew.
• Operate an aerial lift/bucket truck safely and effectively, assisting with pruning, removals, and other tree care services.
• Climb trees when needed using proper techniques and equipment.
• Safely maneuver and position trucks and equipment on various job sites.
• Perform daily equipment and safety checks to ensure all tools are in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site with respect for clients’ properties.

What We’re Looking For…

• Proven experience working on a professional tree crew—climbing and/or operating a bucket truck is required.
• Comfortable working aloft with rigging and power tools.
• A desire to grow within the industry—whether that’s mastering new skills or working toward certifications.
• Valid MA Driver’s License (CDL a major plus—comes with higher pay).
• Familiarity with aerial equipment maintenance and safe operation.
• A positive attitude and team-first mentality.
• Physically fit and able to lift/carry 75+ lbs regularly.
• Drug-free and safety-conscious.

Are you passionate about plant health, eager to learn, and enjoy working outdoors? We are seeking a motivated Plant Health Care Technician to join our growing team. In the off-season, this role may also assist our tree crew.

What You’ll Do…

• Provide expert plant health care – Diagnose, treat, and prevent tree and shrub pests and diseases using industry-approved methods.
• Apply pesticides and fertilization treatments – Safely mix and apply treatments following industry best practices and state regulations.
• Monitor landscapes – Assess plant health conditions, soil quality, and pest activity.
• Educate clients – Share plant health care insights and treatment plans with homeowners.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment – Keep sprayers, spreaders, and trucks in excellent working condition.
• Support tree care operations (off-season) – Assist with tree pruning, removals, and ground operations when necessary.

What We’re Looking For…

• A Valid Massachusetts Applicator (Core) Pesticide License (required).
• Passion for plant health care, horticulture, and environmental stewardship.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness: Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Valid MA Driver’s License.
• Experience in horticulture, arboriculture, landscaping, or plant health care.

Are you passionate about the outdoors, eager to learn, and enjoy a physically demanding job? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our expanding tree crew.

What You’ll Do…

• Be the backbone of our ground operations: Drive company trucks (with trailers/chippers) to and from job sites, operate groundwork equipment (chainsaws, wood chipper, skid steer, mini loader) safely and efficiently.
• Assist aloft workers with ropes and rigging, ensuring safety and precision.
• Learn and apply proper tree and shrub care techniques, including pruning, removal, basic knots, cabling, and bracing.
• Support the crew leader, climber, and plant health care specialists.
• Maintain daily equipment for optimal performance.

What We’re Looking For…

• A love for the outdoors and a positive attitude.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in the tree care industry.
• Professionalism and organizational skills.
• Mechanically savvy.
• Valid MA Driver’s License required. While not required, a CDL is a huge plus and comes with additional compensation!
• Physical fitness: Ability to routinely lift and carry 75lbs, including tree limbs and equipment.
• Drug-free workplace: Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Experience in Horticulture, Landscaping, or General Labor preferred.
