Ralph’s love for the outdoors began in his hometown of Stowe, Vermont and deepened during summers on Cape Cod spent fishing, boating, and exploring the coast. That connection to the natural world guided him toward a career in arboriculture.
In 2006, he joined Bartlett Tree Experts, where he spent a decade mastering the art and science of tree care, with particular expertise in the challenges of Cape Cod’s coastal environment. Ralph became an ISA Certified Arborist in 2016, and in 2023 earned his ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ). He also holds a Massachusetts commerical pesticide license, allowing him to provide and oversee safe and effective Plant Health Care programs for trees and shrubs.
That same passion for high-quality, science-based care inspired him to establish Alfieri Tree Care, LLC. As owner-operator, Ralph is often in the field alongside the crew or meeting with clients, focused on delivering safe, comprehensive, and professional tree and plant health care to the Cape Cod community.
As co-operator of Alfieri Tree Care, Jess plays a vital role in keeping the business side organized and running smoothly. She manages scheduling, client relations, accounting, HR, and marketing, ensuring the team and clients are always supported.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, she joined Ralph on the Cape. Her career path first led her through private country clubs and the special events industry before moving into marketing and business development at one of the region’s largest independent insurance agencies.
In 2021, as both ATC and their family grew, Jess transitioned full-time into managing daily operations at the company. Outside of work, she and Ralph stay busy raising their two young children, keeping life just as lively at home as it is at the business.
